If you were born in the 80’s or earlier you probably remember going to the library and looking up information in actual books to do your research projects. The thought of your own children researching through google likely freaks the hell out of you, and why wouldn’t it?

Google has always had an uneven approach to censorship and applies their odd stance towards sexuality here as well; you can't search for penis or vagina, but you can search for Hitler, Pol Pot, 120 Days of Sodom, human sacrifice, Krokodil, microcephaly, antichrist, and a number of other things you may wish to explain to your child 1-on-1.
